Bourbon just got a Birmingham upgrade.
Barrel Global has partnered with Banijay Rights to launch Peaky Blinders Whiskey, a limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon finished with Irish whisky oak staves. Inspired by the Shelby family’s transatlantic exploits, the 90-proof expression blends American backbone with Irish soul — a nod to the series’ smuggling-era swagger.
Distilled at Green River Distillery — a Prohibition survivor with history baked into its bricks — the bourbon was selected and blended by the Barrel Global team before receiving its Irish oak finish. The result? Cherries and stone fruit on the nose, honey and baking spice on the mid-palate, and a finish that rolls out marzipan, cinnamon, and a touch of minerality.
At 45% ABV, this isn’t a novelty bottle — it’s a serious pour with storytelling in every detail. Designed by Boundless Bite Marketing, the label packs in subtle Easter eggs for fans, from interwar coins and pocket watches to bullets etched with key character names.
“As a huge fan of the Peaky Blinders, it’s a privilege to capture their sensational gangster world in a bottle,” said George Koutsakis, Founder of Barrel Global. “From the liquid to the design, we wanted to create an immersive experience, and I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved.”
The 750ml bottle hits retailers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in early March with a suggested retail price of $44.99. Pre-orders are live now.
Created by Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders streams globally on Netflix, with two new seasons slated for 2027 and 2028.
Time to drink like a Shelby.
