ENRAGEMENT’s ‘Extinguish All Existence’ Will Have You Breaking All Your Toys (and Maybe Your Furniture)

Published:

Brutal, chaotic, and unapologetically heavy — this Finnish death machine delivers a record that hits harder than a Vader chokehold.

Mannnnnn, this new ENRAGEMENT album will have you ripping the heads off your old Star Wars, G.I. Joe, and He-Man figures with a mix of veracity and giddy rage, yo!

If you’re hunting for a record that makes you wanna burn shit to the ground, look no further — Extinguish All Existence (out now via Transcending Obscurity Records) will have you reaching for the matches faster than a contestant at Jack Rabbit Slim’s twist contest.

All the vicious elements are here in spades. Opener “Vorarephilia” sets the tone with pure brutality, followed by “Abyssal Hellscapes” and “Pathogenesis” — my personal favorite. These tracks hit like a steel boot to the chest.

It’s not all perfect, though, I’m afraid. A couple of songs mid-disc don’t quite land, but that’s just a breather before things kick back into high gear with the potent combo of “Hypercarnivorous” and “Insectiferous Abomination.” Both absolutely crush.

The title track closes things out in fine fashion, pumping blood and adrenaline in equal measure, in a manner designed to make you wanna break shit. Bottom line — ENRAGEMENT has delivered a killer album. Extinguish All Existence is fierce, filthy, and a damn good time.

STANDOUT TRACKS: “Vorarephilia,” “Pathogenesis,” “Insectiferous Abomination”
RATING: 8/10
