Perfect for “Little Foodies,” we’ve had a Chocolate Pen here at Rock Father HQ for a few months now, and it’s a fun novelty – not perfect – but something that kids love.
You can write in chocolate, mold in chocolate, and even decorate other things like cupcakes and cookies with chocolate. There’s a bit of a learning curve that can be a tad messy (they say it isn’t, but it is), though once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty fun.
The one essential tip that I’ll give all readers straight away is that you must buy some refill packs of confectioners chocolate (sold separately) to keep the fun rolling. Some retailer exclusives (Kohls for example) come packed with extra chocolate for a bigger price, but the base set comes with just a half pound of chocolate to be used with the interchangeable tips and 50 molds.
