When news of GUITAR HERO LIVE first hit my inbox some months back, I could hardly believe that by the time the game hit stores this Fall, it would’ve already been five years since I reviewed the last installment of the popular music gaming franchise back in 2010. A lot has changed in the half-decade since, but GUITAR HERO is back on the map in a big way, and one of my Top Video Game picks for my 2015 Holiday Wish Guide here on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine. With players new and old strapping on the plastic guitars to rock out once more, GUITAR HERO LIVE puts YOU in the center of the action – focusing on the feel of playing live in front of a crowd of thousands. I’ve rocked the stage in real-life, and playing GUITAR HERO LIVE makes me itch to get back out there… but for now, Activision and I are going to give you a chance to win the game for your choice of platform (Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360) – a great way to rock out this Holiday Season! Wanna see the game in-action? Check out the video of Lenny Kravitz and James Franco below…
Unleash your inner rock star. Guitar Hero Live is here. FreeStyleGames have reinvented the legendary Guitar Hero franchise, with two innovative new gameplay modes and an all-new guitar controller. GH Live mode puts you onstage, looking out: you get a heart-stopping first-person perspective as a real crowd reacts to the notes you play. Or switch over to GHTV – an always-on music video network, where you can play along in real time, discover new music, and challenge friends around the world.
