As a parent, my gauge of pop music has changed a little bit – largely impacted by The Rock Daughters’ reaction to a new song. A few years back, Icona Pop hit that “kid radar” (and pretty much everyone else’s) with “I Love It,” a song that I distinctly recall a few preschoolers singing while swinging on the playground in the past. Icona Pop will perform at the forthcoming Nobel Peace Prize Concert awarding Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos for his resolute efforts to bring the country´s more than 50-year-long civil war to an end. The concert takes place at Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway on December 11th, alongside performances from Sting, Halsey and host Conan O’ Brien.
