April 12, 2013 is National Grilled Cheese Day. Yes, everything has a “day” now… in fact, most things have a “month” as well. April is also National Grilled Cheese Month, not to take away from things like Earth Month and Earth Day. April 12 is also National Licorice Day (Hey, Kids! Come on down to the drug store for some licorice and soda!). I can get behind National Grilled Cheese Day, though (seriously, who makes this stuff up?), and as such, Addie was served a Grilled Cheese for lunch here at Rock Father HQ today. It’s one of her favorites, so it could be any day and Grilled Cheese would be appreciated.
When I cook Grilled Cheese for Addie, it is only made with proper, real American Cheese. None of that “processed cheese food” bullshit. “Singles?” Bleh!
