There was this issue about a week and a half ago… you might’ve heard about it here on The Rock Father, or on The Good Men Project… or on The Huffington Post… or even from Willie Geist over at The Today Show. It was a problem with a tweet, and if it hadn’t been for The Onion having a twitter problem of their own just a few days prior, the folks at PLAYSKOOL might’ve found themselves the “bigger” twitter scandal of the week. But as I said before, it really wasn’t that big a deal.
I didn’t intend to discuss it any further, but as the first Dad to respond, and possibly the first to say “Let’s move along,” I feel it necessary to share news of the handwritten note that arrived here today.
Jerry Perez, the General Manager of PLAYSKOOL took the time to write notes to a group of “Dad Bloggers” that found themselves caught up in the twitter scuffle.
As a lifelong fan of PLAYSKOOL and it’s parent company, HASBRO, I’m happy to see the company putting forth an effort to give some closure to the situation, along with a touch of class. It’s probably a tad unnecessary, but still a sweet gesture.
I’ve covered PLAYSKOOL products here on The Rock Father in the past, and I can assure you that more coverage is already in the pipeline.
