If you’ve been following me for a bit, you might already know that I like to do some cooking and baking with the girls from time-to-time. This past holiday season was massive for both, fueled by my trip to Smucker’s HQ in Ohio as part of a group of rockin’ bloggers from across the country. But now we’re in a lull, and wouldn’t ya know? A care package from The J.M. Smucker Company arrived here at Rock Father HQ – a selection of new products from their family of brands including JIF, Pillsbury Baking, and Smucker’s. First up? Some cupcakes made with the new Pillsbury Baking Funfetti Aqua Blue cake mix, topped with new All-Star Orange Funfetti Frosting and sprinkles.
The tools of the trade for this project are remarkably simple: 2 eggs, water, Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, a mixer and whisk.
Mix it up… less then 10 minutes in the oven… cool for a half hour… frost and enjoy!
I think it’s safe to say that these “All-Star” Cupcakes are Rock Daughter-approved…
They went over big with the whole family, though Addie might’ve gotten in trouble for getting into the cupcakes without asking the following day.
It’s a “sometimes treat.”
Actually, there’s another “sometimes” on the horizon, because I just bought some Pillsbury Valentine’s cake mix and frosting at Target the other day… but Addie doesn’t know that yet.
The new Pillsbury Funfetti Aqua Blue cake mix and All-Star Orange Funfetti Frosting should be arriving at retail now.
Further Disclosure: As noted above, I received products for review, as has been the case in the entire history of “reviews,” going back to the music industry some 70+ years ago. A company sends product in exchange for honest review. Good product = good review. Bad product = everyone will know about it. Hey, look! A yeti!
