The folks at The Hub are kicking off 2014 in-style with new episodes of their original series’ THE AQUABATS! SUPER SHOW!, LITTLEST PET SHOP, SABRINA: SECRETS OF A TEENAGE WITCH, and MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC. They’ve provided The Rock Father with details on all the new episodes, which I’m sharing with you below. All times listed are Eastern, and additional details can be found over at HubWorld.com.
THE AQUABATS! SUPER SHOW!
Airing Saturday, 1–1:30 p.m.
January 18 – “Kitty Litter!”: The Aquabats! encounter a new villain who blames them for his villainous condition and devises a plot for revenge that uses the cuteness of kittens to battle his enemies.
SABRINA: SECRETS OF A TEENAGE WITCH
Airing Saturdays, noon–12:30 p.m.
January 4 – “Hurry Scurry”: While practicing transformation spells, Sabrina accidentally turns Professor Geist into a chicken, and her aunts into mice. Salem’s feline instinct kicks in and Sabrina must find the counter spell before her aunts become cat food.
January 11 – “Ultra-Stitious”: After a wand-charging ceremony powered by human superstitions fizzles, Sabrina is sent to Human World to increase their superstitions. When the humans become too superstitious, the overflow of energy creates a vortex that could destroy all of Witch World.
MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC
Airing Saturdays, 10:30–11 a.m.
January 4 – “Rarity Takes Manehattan”: Rarity is thrilled to be heading to Manehattan for an important fashion show and brings all of her friends along for a high-class adventure in the city she loves. But when another designer ruins Rarity’s chances at winning the competition, she turns to the rest of the Mane Six for help, not realizing that her anger and ambition are damaging her friendships.
January 11 – “Pinky Apple Pie”: Pinky Pie makes an astonishing discovery that may link the Pie family to the Apple clan, and no one is more excited than Pinkie to hop on the Apple wagon to find the pony who will know for sure. Along the way, they must learn to appreciate each other’s strengths and faults to find out what really makes a family.
January 18 – “Rainbow Falls”: Rainbow Dash is headed to the Equestria Games trials with the Ponyville Relay Team, but becomes torn when she is offered the chance to join the more competitive Cloudsdale team.
January 25 – “Three’s a Crowd”: Twilight is looking forward to some quality bonding time with Princess Cadance. But when a sick friend shows up needing Twilight’s attention, it looks like her plans for a peaceful visit with her sister-in-law will have to be put on hold.
LITTLEST PET SHOP
Airing Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. – noon
January 4 – “Blythe’s Big Idea”: Blythe trades in her beloved scooter for a sales kiosk so she can enter the International Pet Fashion Expo. Meanwhile, Roger’s airline launches a “Pet Jet” service and the pets use it to fantasize about being pilots and passengers 30,000 feet up in the air.
January 11 – “Commercial Success”: Super Bowl ads have nothing on the commercial that Blythe and her friends shoot after business at the Littlest Pet Shop slows down and Mrs. Twombly agrees to advertise. Meanwhile, Mrs. Twombly and the pets are not very happy with Jasper’s directing approach and it is up to Blythe to help find a solution.
January 18 – “So Interesting”: When the pets share their “most interesting stories,” Penny Ling feels left out so she invents a fascinating tale where she saves “the Green Bean Fairies” by confronting “the Crab Witch.”
January 25 – “To Paris With Zoe”: Blythe fills in for Zoe’s owners and accompanies her to a dog show in Paris and soon both are smitten. Later, Blythe and Zoe meet a handsome miming street-dog named Phillippe.
