Earlier this morning, a new trailer for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS emerged on the YouTube Channel for Walt Disney Studios Japan. While shorter than it’s American counterpart, this new trailer contains a ton of new footage and dialog, some of which can certainly be considered “SPOILER” territory for some, though it’s really just an extension of moments that we’ve already seen. Personally, I love how much Rey (Daisy Ridley) is echoing Luke Skywalker in those desert shots – and the APOCALYPSE NOW-styled arrival of TIE Fighters from The First Order is just incredible. December 18th can’t get here soon enough. See the new trailer below!

The film stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan & J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.
