This Friday, audiences will witness the release of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon’s TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, the fifth big-screen adventure for the TMNT gang, and the latest reimagining of the popular franchise. When the turtles hit the big screen the first time around, I was there. I had the t-shirt… the soundtrack… but for some reason, never the toys. Over the years, the folks at Playmates Toys have done a fantastic job of of innovating and expanding upon the line, holding the “master license” since the very beginning, and producing action figures and accessories that I’ve always dug. Now, as a parent, I can enjoy the ‘Turtles with my daughters, and yes – we’re getting into those wonderful toys! #TMNTweek here on THE ROCK FATHER is a celebration of all-things TMNT, with new posts each day leading up to the release of the film, and we’ll kick it off with a Hero Vs.
