Despite what you may have heard, BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is a fantastic movie… according to my wife and I. And really, we’re not alone in thinking that, as the box office has been robust, and the most vocal critics always tend to be the loudest. While I loved the film, I do believe some important details were cut in the sake of time (BVS is 2½ hours as-is), and the lack of certain things probably led to some confusion – particularly among those not deeply familiar with the elements of the DC Universe that inspired the movie. Today, Warner Bros. unleashed the first deleted scene, “Communion,” in which Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is definitely having a deep connection with something. Exactly who is unknown, with speculation pointing to several characters, but what’s clear is that some Mother Box action is happening – the same type of box that appears when [SPOILER] the creation of future Justice League member, Cyborg is seen. Take a look…
I’m looking forward to seeing BATMAN v SUPERMAN again in the near future, and am particularly excited to see what’s coming on that promised R-rated Blu-ray cut. Additionally, those looking for answers should know that production on THE JUSTICE LEAGUE: PART I begins in just a couple of weeks. Stay tuned…
