National Lemonade Day is tomorrow (August 20), and for those of you looking to celebrate with a rockin’ lemonade with a little extra kick, the folks at Hornitos® Tequila have just the thing. With the quick and simple recipe I’m sharing with you below, you should be able to break out a classic spiked lemonade at home.
El Padre
- 1 part Hornitos® Plata Tequila
- 2 parts lemonade
- 3-4 dashes of green hot sauce
- Salt/smoked paprika rim
Preparation: Rim shot glass with salt and smoked paprika. Mix chilled lemonade, chilled Hornitos® Plata and hot sauce in mixing glass and pour into shot glass.
