Cheetos is going full send on this one.
After becoming the fastest-selling limited-edition flavor in brand history, Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Crunchy is now a permanent fixture on shelves. And it’s not rolling solo. The brand just dropped Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs, its first 2026 Flamin’ Hot release made without artificial colors or flavors, using plant-based sources like paprika and radish to deliver that signature red heat.
That’s the product play. The real chaos? The campaign.
Enter MEGAN THEE STALLION and NICKELBACK — an unlikely duo that somehow makes perfect sense here. The two team up for “Pickle’s Back,” a full-throttle remix of NICKELBACK’s “How You Remind Me,” backed by a music video packed with heists, car chases, and waves of Flamin’ Hot dust. Director Dave Meyers calls the shots, and the result leans all the way into the absurd.
“It was only right for the Hot Girl Coach to team up with Cheetos to bring back the iconic, Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle flavor,” Megan says. “Everyone knows I love to stuff pickles with Cheetos Flamin’ Hot, so it’s really special to now be part of the campaign to relaunch one of my favorite combinations.”
NICKELBACK is just as in on the joke. “We had a blast getting to parody one of our own songs and teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion to bring it back in a totally unexpected way. Seeing how passionate fans are about Cheetos and this flavor made it even better. It’s bold, playful, and just plain fun! A 10/10 experience, would absolutely do it again,” the band says.
The drop extends beyond the screen. Cheetos is auctioning off props from the video via Goldin (they just sold Logan Paul’s Pokémon card!), with proceeds benefiting the Pete & Thomas Foundation and NICKELBACK’s All The Right Reasons Foundation.
Bottom line: the flavor’s back, the volume’s maxed, and this snack just hijacked the stage.
And, if you need some new tunes? Nickelback’s latest single, “Bones for the Crows,” dropped earlier this month.
