MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA is doing a few U.S. dates for the next week, but then they head down under with a run of dates where Kevin Devine will be supporting. So, what better way to kick-off the upcoming tour than to team-up for a cover song of epic proportions? That’s just what Manchester’s Andy Hull and Kevin Devine did when they recorded one of the greatest tunes from the 20th Century songbook, Will Smith’s theme song to THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR…
Indeed, the duo has performed this song live a time or two in the past, but this appears to be the first time that they’ve done any kind of formal treatment for the classic rap. It’s like Simon and Garfunkel.
