It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a “Covered” entry here on The Rock Father, but tonight I’ve got one that’s too interesting to pass up. When Rocksmith 2014 hit’s the streets on October 22, players will notice a track by a relative unknown tucked in among hits from PARAMORE, RISE AGAINST, SLAYER and PANTERA. “Wasteland” is a 2011 track from EarlyRise that’s included in the game, but it’s not that track that prompted this post. It’s their recent piano-driven acoustic cover of KORN’s “Narcissistic Cannibal” that intrigued me. Give it a listen…
