On August 1, GRATEFUL DEAD fans will celebrate what would’ve been the 71st Birthday of JERRY GARCIA. This morning, a cryptic email arrived here at Rock Father HQ… “a teaser of something to come,” containing only a baby picture of Jerry Garcia taken back in 1942, stamped with the text, “Something New is Waiting to be Born.” The subject of the email? “Don’t Let Go of Jerry.” What do YOU think this is?
As a child of the 80s, “Touch of Grey” is still my principal memory of Garcia and his band…
