A custom-built machine, a nationwide sweepstakes, and one winner riding off with something no one else has.

SIG SAUER has delivered a one-of-a-kind 2025 Indian Sport Chief to Nick Smith of Texas, the winner of its Hero’s Journey Sweepstakes. Built by freestyle motocross icon Carey Hart in collaboration with Indian Motorcycle, the bike blends performance-driven design with hard-edged custom craftsmanship.

Hart designed and built the ride himself, pulling inspiration from SIG SAUER’s identity and translating it into a machine that hits with precision and presence. Every line and detail reflects a mix of performance culture and personal expression, rooted in both brands’ DNA.

The project also carried a larger purpose. Connected to Hart’s Good Ride initiative, the sweepstakes supported the Infinite Hero Foundation, raising $29,349 through more than 42,000 entries to benefit military service members, veterans, and their families.

For Smith, the handoff gives him control over a true one-off build.

For everyone else, it’s a reminder that when craftsmanship and cause align, the impact travels well beyond the road.
