On December 18, 2015, audiences will be treated to STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS. Yes, THE FORCE AWAKENS is the official title of the J.J. Abrams-directed film, the first STAR WARS cinematic adventure to be produced under The Walt Disney Company. Principal photography on the film just-wrapped, with more details expected to emerge shortly.
In other STAR WARS news, STAR WARS REBELS continues to impress, with new episodes airing Monday nights on Disney XD. Meanwhile, the first collaborations between Mattel and Lucasfilm are hitting stores now, with the new HOT WHEELS STAR WARS cars popping up at retail (look for a feature here on THE ROCK FATHER very soon).
