Country firestarter Ashley Wineland is kicking 2025 into high gear with a bold new single: a rock-tinged, soul-soaked cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” out Friday, June 13. This isn’t your average throwback — Wineland infuses the ’80s anthem with dusty-road swagger, Western grit, and emotional weight. Yes, I may have had a sneak preview.

“This song is so memorable, and I love that you can interpret the lyrics in so many ways,” she says. “It truly provides every listener with their own unique experience.”

Currently tearing through the U.S. on her 50+ date Moments in Time Tour, the Arizona native has been making noise as a rising force in country music. Backed by a million-strong fanbase and fresh off her viral hit “Tumbleweed,” she’s also teamed with GRAMMY-nominated hitmaker Marti Frederiksen (Carrie Underwood, Ozzy Osbourne) for what’s shaping up to be a game-changing year.

Pre-save “Time After Time” now.
