On May 2, Columbia Pictures will release THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, and today the final trailer has arrived. My thoughts? The original Spider-man film series with Tobey Maguire was massive (remember how big the opening weekend for the first was?), but they haven’t aged well at all… to the point where I don’t even want to see them again. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN reinvented that world (some would say “too soon”), and this trailer for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2? This just might be the Spider-man movie that we’ve all been waiting for.
