When I became a Father for the first time nearly two years ago, I had no idea that my adventures in parenting would somehow crossover into my online writing. After finding myself a new addition to the growing number of Work-at-Home Dads, I found that while ‘Daddy Blogs‘ exist online, they’re far fewer in number than the parenting blogs geared toward women, and that few appealed to my own interests.
My wife was twisting the screws on me for awhile to start something up on my own, and after months of searching for just the right name, The Rock Father™ finally popped into my head. After securing the name, the birth of this website was only a matter of time.
While many of you may be familiar with my daily writings from around the music world, this is where I’ll be stepping out-of-character and into more personal territory. Here you’ll follow the adventures I have with my 22-month old (as of this writing) daughter, along with the adventures of fellow “Rock Fathers” from all corners of entertainment.

The Rock Father™ will contain personal experiences, along with discussion on parenting, along with product reviews, features, and other cool things. We’ll talk about fun stuff for the Kids and for Dad, as we create a special place for us to celebrate the joy of Fatherhood.
