Chrysler rolled into Overland Expo Mountain West this weekend and flipped the minivan game on its head. Meet the Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept — lifted, all-wheel-drive, and built for adventurers who refuse to let pavement call the shots.
The Grizzly Peak swaps the third-row seats for a flat cargo floor, turning the cabin into a mobile base camp — gear, sleeping, or both. Outside, it’s all business: 31-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires on 18-inch Foreshadow wheels, a 2.75-inch front and 2.5-inch rear lift, Baja Designs LP4 fog lamps, TYRI roof lighting, an ARB retractable awning, and a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform roof rack. Mopar splash guards and lower-body protective wrap finish the rugged look.
Inside, the Limited-model cabin packs Katzkin leather with orange seat belts, a sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, stackable Mopar totes, all-weather mats, and 115V/450W rear power access. Chrysler also added a space-saver spare and roadside first-aid kit — because adventure is as much about prep as it is thrills.
“We’ve been following van life for years, and we know adventurers really value the versatility the Pacifica delivers,” said Chrysler Brand CEO Chris Feuell. “Our Chrysler design studio nailed the brief and really dove in. They lifted the suspension, added useful, functional features, including a roof-mounted Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform rack, TYRI LED lighting, and ARB retractable awning, and tailored the cabin for sleeping to create this Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept as a test bed.”
The Pacifica Grizzly Peak indicates that Chrysler’s award-winning minivan can leave the asphalt behind — and still haul many things.
