Technical death metal machine ALLEGAEON just dropped a new lyric video for “Imperial,” and it hits like a precision-guided strike.
The track comes from The Ossuary Lens, the band’s latest slab of sonic devastation, out now on Metal Blade Records. If you’ve been paying attention, you already know ALLEGAEON doesn’t do half-measures. These guys deal in razor-wire riffs, brain-melting musicianship, and the kind of controlled chaos that can level a room.
The arrival of “Imperial” also sets the stage for the band’s upcoming U.S. run with Obscura. That tour launches today — Friday the 13th — in Los Angeles and burns through the country before closing out April 4 in San Jose. Cryptosis and Cognitive are also on board, which means this one is stacked wall-to-wall with technical brutality.
Bottom line: ALLEGAEON is locked in, The Ossuary Lens is out in the wild, and “Imperial” is the latest shot in a campaign built for metalheads who like their music sharp, savage, and executed with surgical force.
