Like Santa Claus after a good slide down a chimney on Christmas Eve, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY dropped a surprise last month with the release of GLORIOUS CHRISTMAS SONGS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR BLACK LABEL HEART FEEL GOOD.
Giving Zakk Wylde a chance to show off his melodic and somewhat jazzy chops, both I’ll Be Home For Christmas and Oh Little Town of Bethlehem feature impressive fretwork with multi-layered guitars taking the place of vocal delivery. Though it’s not quote a “holiday” song, It’s A Wonderful World fits nicely into the mix with it’s piano accompaniment.
