It’s been more than a decade since CRAZYTOWN (or CRAZY TOWN – not sure what the deal is with spacing) released their second album, DARKHORSE, but now they’ve announced a return to music with a new album entitled THE BRIMSTONE SLUGGERS. Bret “Epic” Mazur and Seth “Shifty Shellshock” Binzer have thrown down roots for a new online presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, and have issued a brief teaser of their new music. While “Butterfly” is no doubt the song most will identify CRAZYTOWN with, I still always think of “Only When I’m Drunk,” a collaboration with THA ALKAHOLIKS that appeared on the LOUD ROCKS compilation… which I still listen to on occasion.

What do YOU think of the news of CRAZYTOWN’s return? I think we’re entering the resurgence of some bands from the late 90s/early 00s.
