Ahead of the United Nations’ International Day of the Girl Child (October 11), Disney Channel has issued a brand-new music video to inspire and support the great potential of girls everywhere. “Legendary” is an amplification of the Disney Channel “brand promises” – “Express Yourself,” “Believe in Yourself” and “Celebrate Your Friends and Family.” Showcasing the spirit of camaraderie, “Legendary” delivers the powerful message that when girls and young women support each other and work together, nothing is out of reach. The video features 17 young stars from across Disney Channel’s original series’ and movies. Check it out below!

“Legendary” was directed by Hannah Lux Davis (director of Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Fifth Harmony music videos). The song was written and produced by The Heavyweights; the GRAMMY®-nominated production team composed of Jamie Jones, Jack Kugell and Matt Wong; along with songwriter Hanna Jones.
A version of “Legendary” is one of the eight original songs performed in the upcoming “Raven’s Home” musical episode, “Raven’s Home: Remix,” premiering FRIDAY, OCT. 12 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel. “Raven’s Home: Remix, The Musical Episode” digital soundtrack features original songs from the episode is available for download and at streaming on Walt Disney Records.
Note: My girls are both off school for Columbus Day, and both were nodding their heads and starting to hum along by the time the song was half-way through. Safe to say The Rock Daughters™ dig it!
