Chicago’s own “First Lady of Children’s Music” is releasing her 34th album for Smithsonian Folkways later this month, when 123s and ABCs hits the streets. The 16-song collection features some of Jenkins’ best music for helping kids learn counting and the alphabet, with songs presented in four languages – English, Spanish, Swahili, and Yiddish.
