Force Friday Countdown: Fighter Pods Series I – Snowspeeder Vs. AT-AT – 99 Days to Go…

This article is more than 9 years old and may not have been updated since our last site redesign. It may contain outdated information or could be missing images.

Now, right about now, I expect that you might be wondering – “Why is today’s entry into Hasbro’s Force Friday Countdown Calendar being displayed inside of a refrigerator filled with Diet Mountain Dew?” The answer, young Padawan, is that I have exactly zero interest in the FIGHTER PODS toys – absolutely none. It’s a weird thing for the STAR WARS realm, but Hasbro’s line of “Intergalactic Battle” pods were just enough of a blip for me to say “pass” on – again, surprising, because usually the Hasbro team hits the mark for me. So yes, I placed the countdown calendar inside the ‘fridge here in my office. Diet Mountain Dew Mtn Dew is the Official Soft Drink of Rock Father HQ, though no one as PepsiCo is aware of that. Unofficially official, you could say – but primary fuel aside from coffee. I was trying to make it interesting. Besides, Pepsi Products are generally corporate licensing partners with STAR WARS, so I’d assume they will be when THE FORCE AWAKENS is released, right?

Bonus Fact: There is a PEPSI R2-D2 Store Cooler from the 1997 STAR WARS SPECIAL EDITIONS release campaign in my garage.

Keep your browser pointed toward THE ROCK FATHER as we continue the #ForceFridayCountdown en route to #ForceFriday, the day that new Hasbro toys for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS arrive at retail! 99 Days to Go!
