I guess it’s appropriate that Hasbro decided to feature Nien Nunb for Independence Day – after all, he did help destroy the second Death Star, co-piloting the Millennium Falcon with Lando Calrissian and busting out some interesting verbiage along the way. While it’s the 2012 “Vintage Collection” version of the pilot that’s featured in the Force Friday Countdown Calendar today, it’s the 1997 Power of the Force edition that we have here at Rock Father HQ. But, since we’re spinning things back a bit, lets take a look at the mail-away commercial for the vintage Kenner edition circa 1983…
