Last year, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and WWE Studios got into the “Holiday Cheer” game with the release of JINGLE ALL THE WAY 2, which I covered extensively. Campy as some of them may be, I really love holiday movies, so when word arrived that WWE & Fox had another one in the pipeline, my jingle bells started ring ding dingin’. SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER arrives on DVD and Digital HD™ on Tuesday, November 17, with viewers invited to “Ho-ho-hold on tight for holiday hijinks” in the new family comedy starring WWE® Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin®, WWE Diva Paige™ and AnnaLynne McCord (DALLAS, NIP/TUCK).
About the Film: After getting fired from his job, a slick, fast-talking businessman (Dax) is given an opportunity of a lifetime – become Santa Claus’s second-in-command. However, getting the job won’t be that easy – Dax must go head-to-head against an elf that feels she’s more deserving of the title. As the competition heats up, Dax learns the true meaning of Christmas…but ultimately who will become Santa’s Little Helper?
SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER was directed by Gil Junger (10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU) from a screenplay by James Robert Johnston (JOY RIDE 2: DEAD AHEAD) and Bennett Yellin (DUMB & DUMBER).
