It’s Saturday, May 5, 2012 – which means that it’s FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! Yes, it’s the annual day in which independent comic shops open their doors to readers new and old to dish out some free books for kids of all ages. While I don’t agree with some of the marketing materials regarding the popularity of print comic books these days, I do think that this is an important day, and the perfect chance to take the kids to a local comic book store.
