Alright, so I’m a little bit late in posting this week’s new release listing. But, it’s still Tuesday for a couple more hours here at Rock Father HQ, so I figure I’m still within my own self-imposed limits. After all, who do I work for? That’s right, myself! Well, but technically, (everything I do) I do it for you – like Bryan Adams’ terrible song from that ROBIN HOOD movie with Clark Kent’s Dad. Now I’m just being silly, but if you’re looking for what’s new in home video releases this week, then I have what you need… highlights of all the family titles that have arrived at retail as of today. MIKE THE KNIGHT: MIKE’S TREASURE HUNT (NCircle Entertainment)
The Kingdom of Glendragon is full of hidden secrets, jewels and treasure and it is Mike’s mission to find them! Whilst showing off his tracking skills, Mike learns that it pays to be slow and careful and discovers that you shouldn’t turn down a wizard’s help, especially when you’re on the hunt for treasure! Trollee tells Mike about some buried treasure at the end of a rainbow and Mike does his best to guard a bunch of bananas. In the end he learns that everything is easier with a little help from your friends.
MONSTERS VS. ALIENS: SUPERSONIC JOYRIDE (20th Century Fox)
The monstrous laughs and ginormous adventures continue with this action-packed collection of Monsters vs. Aliens TV episodes inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s hit movie. Buckle up for a joyride of fun as the members of Team Monster – Susan, Link, Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D. and B.O.B., the gelatinous blob – work together to save the world from an outrageous assortment of power-hungry aliens, including a few NEW colorful characters!
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTATION SITUATION (Nickelodeon)
