As a kid that grew up watching the adventures of Bo and Luke Duke on THE DUKES OF HAZZARD, I would’ve never imagined that nearly four decades later I’d still be talking about the Duke boys or their real-life alter-egos, namely John Schneider & Tom Wopat . I was really into the Dukes – so much that I had a full-on Dukes birthday party at one point (the cake had the General Lee on it) and would view my Coleco Power Cycle as a prized possession, right alongside those little 3 3/4″ Mego action figures. All these years later, and I’m still a Dukes fan – but also a fan of what Schneider and Wopat have accomplished beyond Hazzard County. From music and film to the Broadway stage, these guys have done it all, and for 2014 they’ve teamed for something special – their first Holiday album, the result of a hugely successful Kickstarter effort.
