Kia America just scored a big hit.

The company revealed that last month, U.S. consumers purchased 70,099 of its vehicles — amounting to the biggest July sales numbers in Kia history. The news comes following the company’s best first-half year sales in history. To-date, Kia’s moved more than 448,610 vehicles.

“Kia continues to build on the momentum from our record-breaking first-half by setting yet another record,” says Sean Yoon, President and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America. “Kia sold more than 74% of our available inventory in July as compared to 34% during the same period last year, a solid reflection of the strong consumer interest in the brand.”

Kis says that highlights include growth for the new 2022 Carnival MPV (replacing the Sedona), and best-ever July sales for the K5, Sportage, and Telluride.
