Whenever I’m asked to name my favorite bands, one that’s consistently in the Top Five is HELMET. Sure, the band has completely changed lineups over the years, but at its center, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Page Hamilton has remained. On October 28th, HELMET will release their first new album in six years, when DEAD TO THE WORLD hits the streets via earMUSIC, and today comes the first taste – a lyric video for “Bad News.” It’s not what one would think of as the “classic” HELMET sound, but it’s still a song worth listening to.
