Holiday Wish GuideWe have officially entered holiday movie season – a time when families gather to share classic tales and traditions while experiencing new ones as well. I’m a big fan of Christmas movies in general, often citing Jingle All the Way as the greatest holiday film of all-time (really, it’s just my favorite).  Whatever your flavor, from A Christmas Story to National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Elf or Emmett Otter’s Jugband Christmas, they all have a lineage that dates back to a classic tale… Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Now, the story of how that story came to be is coming to life in THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS, a new film opening in theaters everywhere on November 22, 2017.

To celebrate the release of the film and the launch of The Rock Father™ Magazine‘s annual Holiday Wish Guide™, we’ve teamed-up to give readers a shot at a Family Movies DVD Prize Pack that includes the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol starring George C. Scott, plus a pair of films featuring the stars of THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS – 2017’s Beauty and The Beast (Dan Stevens) and 1965’s The Sound of Music (Christopher Plummer)!

The Man Who Invented Christmas tells of the magical journey that led to the creation of Ebenezer Scrooge (Christopher Plummer), Tiny Tim and other classic characters from A Christmas Carol. Directed by Bharat Nalluri (MISS PETTIGREW LIVES FOR A DAY), the film shows how Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) mixed real life inspirations with his vivid imagination to conjure up unforgettable characters and a timeless tale, forever changing the holiday season into the celebration we know today.  Get tickets now via Fandango!
