Well, this is disappointing. The previously-announced 50-City PAJANIMALS LIVE! PAJAMA PLAYDATE Tour (which I covered here on The Rock Father back in November) has been canceled. CID Entertainment (producers of the tour) have issued the following statement…
“Pajama Playdate Tour has been cancelled. Refunds are being honored for your purchase of Tickets or your VIP Party Packages. Please see below for details on refunds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks for your support. Refunds are being honored for your purchase of Tickets or your VIP Party Packages. For those fans who purchased regular tickets or VIP Party Packages through Ticketmaster phones or internet, you will automatically have your order refunded, and should receive an email from Ticketmaster Customer Service within the next several days to confirm this. For other Ticket holders, please contact your point of purchase (Ticketmaster ticket centers, local box office, etc.) to inquire about refunds or to ask any questions you might have about this change. For non-Ticketmaster purchasers of VIP Party Packages, please contact CID Entertainment Guest Services Department to inquire about refunds or to ask any questions you might have about this change.”CID Entertainment
After covering the PAJANIMALS previously, a representative from The Jim Henson Company (makers of the show) had promised me tickets to take Addie. Fortunately, I hadn’t mentioned it to her yet, as she’d be very upset. PAJANIMALS are a part of our nighttime routine here at Rock Father HQ, with their “Lullaby” Song being a pre-bedtime requirement. Now we’re on the hunt for the new PAJANIMALS toys that were recently released by TOMY under their LAMAZE line.
Unfortunately, I tend to think that PAJANIMALS aren’t a big enough brand just yet. On recent trips to TOYS R US, I’ve asked about the availability of the toys, and the employees have no idea who or what the PAJANIMALS are.
