Potty Training, Pull-Ups and the Power of Doc McStuffins…

This article is more than 10 years old and may not have been updated since our last site redesign. It may contain outdated information or could be missing images.

“THE ROCK FATHER is participating in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. He has received compensation for participating.”

Funny enough, it was just shy of three years ago when I first mentioned Huggies Pull-Ups here on THE ROCK FATHER, worked into a (hopefully) humorous post about being “The Rock Father,” and how any job I was doing became equated not with money, but with how many boxes of Pull-Ups I could buy. 32 months, and over 2,800 articles later (seriously), we’re potty training again, and that means that Pull-Ups are a fixture here once more.  Potty Training isn’t fun, but there’s ways to make it easier…

Pull-Ups

Potty AppLittle Finley is officially a member of the Pull-Ups Big Kid Academy, working toward a day when she’ll be totally diaper-free. In the meantime, our Potty Training is being assisted by some familiar Disney friends, most recently the big one here at Rock Father HQ – the star of what just may be the crown jewel of Disney Junior programming for us right now… DOC McSTUFFINS.

With Doc and Lambie representing on Finn’s Pull-Ups, she likes likes the way they look, while Mommy and Daddy like the way they function. The Pull-Ups Big Kid Academy features plenty of potty training tools for parents, including charts (like we’ve used), an “Time to Potty” App for iOS and Android, and a personal dashboard… because every kid is different (hey, and if they don’t like Doc, they’ve got JAKE AND THE NEVER LAND PIRATES, MICKEY MOUSE and more).

Speaking from experience, you can’t push the little ones into things, and when they’re ready, they’re ready. But having the right tools in place is always a good thing, and Pull-Ups have been there for us with both of our girls.

Added Bonus: If you happen to run across one of the Pull-Ups starter kits (we bought one not long ago), they come in a really cool box that can double as a toy box. In fact, our girls are keeping some of their Doc McStuffins toys (we have a bunch) in a stylish Doc McStuffins Pull-Ups box!
