It’s the most-condensed promotion for a Star Wars film that we’ve ever seen, and personally – I dig it. A new TV spot just arrived and it showcases the crew of scoundrels about to pull of a job as we look into the early adventures of Han Solo and his new friend, Chewbacca. What’s unique about this spot is that it might be the first example of a Star Wars spot using music from a popular artist alongside the typical score and trailer music elements. AWOLNATION‘s 2015 track “Run” is featured heavily in this one. Check it out…
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
SOLO stars Alden Ehrenreich as a younger version of the character originated by Harrison Ford, with Donald Glover stepping in for Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian. Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton and Emilia Clarke also star.
