Splashlings Wave 2 are Swimming into Walmart...

A rising part of the micro-collectibles craze, TPF Toys’ Splashlings made a, well, splash, last year, and now the second wave is swimming ashore. Arriving at Walmart in February, Sam Walton’s former “five & dime” joins the ranks of other major retailers in stocking these fun, sea-dwelling friends. From Mike Bowling, creator of Pound Puppies, Splashlings are “An Ocean Full of Friends,” and the new wave brings 100 new mermaids, ocean friends, gems, shells and treasures join the Splashlings family. We have a few Wave 1 sets here at HQ, and The Rock Daughters™ love ’em.

Splashlings follows five mermaid guardians of the sea as they encounter adventures, fend off dastardly Mer-Pirates, and make new friends while protecting the underwater kingdom of Orabel.

Splashlings Mermaids Assortments

Designed for kids ages 5 and older, the Mermaid 12-pack includes a Mermaid, seven Splashlings^TM (plus a ‘hidden’ Splashlings) and two seashells. Ages 4+, SRP: $12.99

The Mermaid 6 pack assortment includes 1 mermaid, four Splashlings and one seashell. Ages 4+, SRP: $5.99

Splashlings^TM Ocean Full of Friends™ 2-packs make it a surprise each time to see what two Splashlings are behind the foil pack inside! Ages 4+, SRP $2.99. A 2-pack Splashlings Collector Shell is also available; SRP $3.99.

Medical Center Playset – At times, Mermaids and An Ocean Full of Friends need a little nurturing medical care, and the Medical Center Playset, packaged with two Splashing Pets, helps get Splashlings^TM friends cured and ready for more fun. SRP: $14.99

In addition to the complete line of collectibles, fans can collect Upper Deck trading cards and tap into the Splashlings Official Checklist & Collector’s Guide companion app, offering a fun way to keep track of their growing toy and card collections. The brand will see apparel, bedding and food/beverage products in the coming year. Splashlings assortments are available at Toys “R” Us, Amazon, Justice Stores, and Walmart beginning February 1, 2017.
