On December 23rd, ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS: THE ROAD CHIP rolls into theaters with a new adventure from director Walt Becker (National Lampoon’s VAN WILDER) and writers Randi Mayem (TOOTH FAIRY) and Adam Sztykiel (DUE DATE). “Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City…and dump them.” That leads The Chipmunks to embark on a road trip to stop the proposal, and possibly prevent them from losing Dave and gaining a terrible stepbrother. This week a new poster for the film has arrived, complete with a play on the classic Eazy-E/N.W.A. classic, “Boyz-n-the-Hood.”
ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS: THE ROAD CHIP stars Jason Lee, Tony Hale, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Anna Faris and Christina Applegate. Based on characters Alvin and The Chipmunks created by Ross Bagdasarian and The Chipettes created by Janice Karman.
