It’s been more than a decade since we saw Venom appear on-screen as a villain in Spider-Man 3, but now times have changed and the character is getting his own chance to shine in a feature of his own. Tom Hardy becomes the latest actor to make the jump from DC (as Bane) to Marvel as Eddie Brock when VENOM hits the big screen this October. Today the first teaser for the film has arrived, complete with a very short synopsis…  “One of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award® nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.” A badass character performed by a badass actor.
