“The Godfather of Shock Rock,” ALICE COOPER is a legend – and one whose career has spanned six decades. In fact, Cooper and Halloween go hand-in-hand, and way back in 1978, the man who allegedly took his name from a Ouija Board made his way to THE MUPPET SHOW, on which he revealed himself as an Agent of The Devil, offering THE MUPPETS “fabulous riches and Worldwide fame” in exchange for their felt-covered souls. While he may not have succeeded in snatching the heart of Kermit, Cooper did manage to break out memorable performances of “Welcome to My Nightmare,” “You and Me,” and “School’s Out,” all while backed by Muppets and Monsters alike. ALICE COOPER’s 1978 appearance on THE MUPPET SHOW lands at Day 2 on 31 Days of Halloween 2014, a special “Throwback Thursday” edition. Watch the full episode below.
