THE ROCK FATHER writes about Star Wars a lot. He also loves Mac & Cheese, so he would’ve written about KRAFT Mac & Cheese Star Wars Boxed Shapes dinner even if it wasn’t a sponsored post for Socialstars #Youknowyouloveit

The Force is strong in this household, but if you’re reading this, then you already know that. Growing up as a child of the 1980s, Star Wars was everywhere, and it’s interesting to see how in 2015 it’s everywhere once more. In fact, we might be living in the best time ever to be a Star Wars fan, and as we’re raising a new generation right now, it’s cool to see that goodness from a galaxy far, far away making it’s way into other aspects of our daily lives… like the dinner table. Like Star Wars, KRAFT Mac & Cheese Dinner has been a regular part of my existence for as long as I can remember… and I imagine that our girls will one day hold it in the same regard.

I was pretty excited the first time I spotted a familiar Dark Lord of the Sith staring at me from an equally-familiar blue box a few weeks back.  And next to Darth Vader, there he was – the Yin to his Yang, Jedi Master Yoda, taking his place on the grocery store shelves as if to bring balance to The Force. KRAFT Mac & Cheese Star Wars Boxed Shapes had arrived, and you can bet I bought ‘em. But it was the girls who had to have R2-D2 and C-3PO, once again proving that you can’t deny the power of those loveable Droids. And, tapping right into that “collectible” appeal that Star Wars has done so well for grownups like me, there’s eight boxes in total, each printed with half of a character image. Get ‘em all, and you’ve got a display.

As a kid, KRAFT Mac & Cheese was something to look forward to, and for years I’d always thought that “my Mom made it better” than anyone else. Suffice to say, I think I’ve mastered that skill, and really it’s just by following the instructions on the box. And as a parent, it’s great to know that the KRAFT Mac & Cheese Boxed Shapes have no artificial flavors, preservatives, or synthetic colors while still delivering the taste we’ve all come to know and love.

But who am I kidding? I still totally play with my food, and the first thing I did with these is check out the included shapes to see if my oldest daughter, Addie, could name ‘em. We’re definitely doing things right, because she fired off the names of Darth Vader, Master Yoda (she actually said “Master,” which touches my heart), C-3PO, R2-D2 and “an X-Wing Fighter” without hesitation. I made a full fleet of X-Wings…

Whether it’s by itself as an easy dinner, shared with the girls for a quick lunch or used as a side dish for a larger meal, the best thing about KRAFT Mac & Cheese Dinner is having happy Rock Daughters here at Rock Father HQ.
