As the folks at Funko prepare to set their “Jabba’s Palace” edition of their STAR WARS Smuggler’s Bounty subscription boxes free upon the world, here at Rock Father HQ the time has come to share our unboxing of the most recent installment, “Bounty Hunters.” While little Finley of The Rock Daughters™ and I cracked this open weeks ago (big sister Addie was at school), I’m late when it comes to posting, but I assure you that it’s probably the cutest unboxing of these that you’ll see…
This fourth installment of Smuggler’s Bounty focuses on the Bounty Hunters of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, bringing together exclusive Pop! Vinyl versions of Boba Fett and IG-88, a Boba Fett patch, Bossk pin, and a t-shirt that ranks among my favorites since Funko started rolling out the Smuggler’s Bounty boxes when THE FORCE AWAKENS launched last December.
One of the best parts of this for me is seeing Finley’s reaction, and noting that one of the first things she did was make an attempt to place Boba Fett in the cockpit of his ship, Hasbro’s Slave-1:
And that IG-88? That droid is never up to any good…
