2014 Rock Father Fitness Challenge: Week 14 Results

THE ROCK FATHERRock Father vs. Rock Father – It’s been fourteen weeks since James Zahn and Tom George (read the kick-off story here) began a year-long journey to not only lose weight, but get fit. These two Work-at-Home Dads had let time and their jobs take their toll on their personal well-being. For each week of the journey, we’ve been checking-in to find out how their efforts are paying off. This past Sunday (April 6, 2014), both men did their weigh-in, and these are the results. The “Challenge” is becoming more “Challenging” as has been evident these past few weeks


jamesweek14Starting Weight: 328.4 | Last Week: 312 | Current Weight: 312

About Week 14, James states: “Completely flat, AGAIN? It’s frustrating that I can’t seem to crack this and just keep hanging at 312. I NEED to get below 300, but I have a plan. I’ve finally figured out how and when to work regular gym visits into my daily schedule, and I will be starting at some point in the next week or so. Stay tuned!”

tomweek14Starting Weight: 396.4 | Last Week: 370.8 | Current Weight: 374

About Week 14, Tom states: “I gained 3.2 pounds this week. This was easily my worst week of the year since I’ve started trying to lose weight. We went out to eat multiple times last week, and to be honest I really haven’t been watching what I eat. I need to get back on track this week.”

So far, we’re tracking a 17 pound loss by James, and a 22.4 pound loss by Tom.
