As noted above, September 10 is a huge day for fans of THE CLASH, as Sony Music will release SOUND SYSTEM (pre-order here), a massive retrospective box set encased in what appears to be an early-80s boombox. If the 12-disc box is too much rock to handle, there will also be a 2CD, 3LP collection called THE CLASH HITS BACK (pre-order here) released. The 32-track set is sequenced to mimic a live set that the band performed in 1982.
