Sheriff Callie’s Wild West stars Mandy Moore (Disney’s “Tangled”) as the voice of Callie, a loveable Calico cat sheriff who keeps the peace in her frontier town of Nice and Friendly Corners using her noodle lasso and cowgirl know-how. Whether teaching her trusty deputy Peck (a woodpecker voiced by “High School Musical’s Lucas Grabeel) a lesson about good sportsmanship through a game of horseshoes, or helping her horse Sparky regain his confidence after he slips and falls during a barrel race, Callie always comes to the aid of her townsfolk and in the process, imparts lessons about good morals, manners and social ethics for kids age 2-7.
Disney’s PLANES arrives on Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday (November 19), and today a couple of bonus clips have hit the web – two deleted scenes from the film…

With Disney’s FROZEN due out later this month (in theaters November 27), the team at Disney Publishing Worldwide has released a new installment of their popular App series, with FROZEN: STORYBOOK DELUXE. The App is designed to encourage beginning readers with various storytelling options: Read on your own, Record your own voice, and Listen to the narration with text. In an all-new feature, kids can flip their device upside-down to hear the Frozen story told by dueling sisters Anna and Elsa. Available for iOS Apps here.
