This Tuesday, August 19, Brooklyn kindie stars THE POP UPS will release APPETITE FOR CONSTRUCTION (pre-order: Amazon | iTunes), their third full-length effort, and the follow-up to 2012’s excellent, GRAMMY-nominated RADIO JUNGLE (reviewed here). To mark the impending release, THE POP UPS have partnered with THE ROCK FATHER to debut “Block House” as part of their #10Songs10Days promotion. With a deliciously-80s synth-pop groove, “Block House” is a celebration of building a mighty tower of alphabet blocks – a time-honored tradition for kids everywhere.
